A Joint Game A good time was held by all 30 golfers during the ChambersÕ Golf Tournament on Aug 25. A resounding success, the tourney was jointly held the American, Korean, Japanese and Taiwan Chambers of Commerce at the Warner Golf Club, TEDA. Amcham vice-president Mathew Tonge who offered the opening remarks.
After the pleasantries, everyone headed to It was a fine weather day and perfect conditions for great game. About 4 hours later, the golfers returned, exhausted from their game. The overall champion was Steve Hockridge, the GM of Energizer while
the 1st runner up was Mr Yoshikawa from Tianjin Yamaha. The third
place winner was Xian Yuji, from the Korean Society while M A winner was also selected from each chamber (the prizes were sponsored by AEA). AEA representative Mr. Kevin awarded the prizes. Then everyone sat down to a sumptuous dinner. |
