Our Tibeten Adventure
In August 2002, my family and I finally scheduled and began our much-anticipated journey to Tibet. The trip started in Chengdu and, suffice it to say, the pandas are adorable and the big Buddha is HUGE!!! And, the Sichuan food is fantastic. Our flight to Lhasa was delayed leaving Chengdu (by 1 _ hours) but that didn't stop the flight attendants from serving breakfast while on the ground. That wouldn't happen where I'm from!
