¡ïThe world's third largest hotel group, French Accor Hotel Group, has signed an agreement with TEDA to establish a two star hotel there. It will be the first hotel set up by the Accor Hotel Group in China after its accession into WTO.

Founded in 1968, Accor owns over 3,700 hotels (consisting of 17 brands in over 90 countries) which rank from one star to luxury hotels.

The hotel to be set up in TEDA will be the IBIS Hotel.

With a total investment of US$3.6 million, the IBIS Hotel will have 150 rooms and outlets but without any other entertainment outlets. The hotel is expected to be opened by October next year.
