Foreign Students Sang a song on Great Wall

Germany Coburo Middle School philharmonic students song songs with Chinese students on the Beijing Badaling Great Wall on 6th, August. At the same day, students from Coburo schools joined the "China Beijing Wangfujing Middle school students International Concert Festival? and visited the Great wall with Chinese students. They hope their friendship will last forever."

Summer Palace Receive 30,000 Tourists

Two British Tourists are checking a tour map in the shadows near the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace went into tour peak since August. According to the statistics of management department of Summer Palace, there are more than 30,000 foreign and domestic tourists. It is listed in the "World Heritage List" in 1998.

 

Beijing Breeds New Flowers for 2008 Olympics

The athletes who wore olive branch wreath on their head became a special view in Athens 2004. What kind of flowers will attract audience attention in Beijing 2008 Olympic Games? Beijing's gardeners are busy breeding new varities of flowers to ensure that the city is in full bloom when it hosts the 2008 Olympic Games. More than 600 varieties are being bred at a nursery near the Fragrant Hill. Horticulturists will choose some of the flowers to be cultivated around the city next year to evaluate their performance.

Sea Lion Got the Champion

There is a special swimming competition in Beijing Aquarium on 23rd, August. The athletes are two 200kg sea lions. Sea Lion, Max won the champion. It was said that Beijing Aquarium reduced the number of performances in the high temperature weather. But there will be more wonderful animal performances after the weather becomes cooler.
